Exclude Structural Openings from ConVoid
Introduction
In this session, you will learn different methods on how to exclude elements from the ConVoid process. The following is one common use case for excluding elements from the process:

-
If you have created a structural opening automatically and want to freeze it, you can exclude it from the conVoid process. This will ensure that the structural opening remains unchanged even if the host or reference elements are modified in the future, which would normally trigger a change when rerunning ConVoid.

Using these exclusion methods gives you full control of the automated ConVoid process.

Exclude Elements by a Parameter
By default, all ConVoid families have the 'Exclude from conVoid' parameter. This means you can enable the parameter for each structural opening to ensure that conVoid does not modify those elements. In case you exclude a structural opening, ConVoid will still update the transferred parameters.
